What Ginger's Dad said

This is a hard post to write. He wasn't happy with what happened, but I wasn't the main reason for his anger. He seemed almost embarresed on the phone, yesterday, he had a work colleague with him & didn't want to say too much. What he did say shocked me a bit. He said that I was within my rights to get the Police involved in this & to have Ginger charged with "obtaining money by deception", Ginger has already got one caution against his name for another offence & that would probably send him down. He said, that Ginger doesn't seem to know how serious this really is & maybe a threat like that from me might buck his ideas up & I'll be able to get the truth out of him at last. About the money, he said that it's tight at the moment, but he'll try to pay me back when he can & I know that his Dad is trustworthy, but again I'll probably discuss more of that face-to-face, when I'm next down. He told me to set Ginger a deadline for the answer & to threaten legal action if I didn't get a satisfactory one. I have sent the message, today, that I need a truthful answer by 09/24 or it may go further. I also said that I didn't want it to go further & said I wouldn't do it in a previous message to him, but that "the ball is now in his court". All he has to do is give me the truthful answer in writing, to prevent this going further. Wish me luck! MF72 |
