a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

Ecclesiastes 3:6

Dear Friends in Christ,

We, who are gathered here, are a diverse group of faithful pilgrims. We seek to do God's work in our lives and the lives of those around us. I was asked to be the caretaker of this place - the person who made sure the doors were always open, and a friendly welcome waiting. Some days that was an easy task, and other days it was made more challenging. God is faithful, and CBF continues its ministry.

My journey with you is surely not finished. Yet, as I reflect on the past four years together I feel that the time has come for others to lead, search, and struggle. We have a good number of regulars, and many more who are not able to post each day. Thanks be to God for each person who has come to CBF, and found solace, support, and meaning for their Christian journey. My own path now leads me to new horizons, new people, and new obstacles. I will continue to value the friendships that have grown through CBF and real-life gatherings, although I will not be involved with the day-to-day running of CBF.

Forgiven and zip will be the admin team for now... perhaps they will invite others alongside them in time. I think that new leadership has a way of giving new life and direction to a web resource, and I'm confident that CBF will continue to bring together Christian boylovers from around the world.

When we identify with the label "boylover" it sometimes comes with a price. When we identify with the label "Christian" it also can have a strong reaction in the boylove communities. The Christian boylover has a special responsibility to be the light to the boylover and Christian communities - being that hope, that joy, that promise of New Life in Jesus Christ.

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.
1 Peter 2:11-12

Peace of Christ,
Bach
