BBS - Mentoring in the UK

It was brought to my attention by Turner on BC about BBS (Big Brothers & Sisters), a charity organisation that provides & trains mentors from the ages of 25-35 to provide fun & friendship companions to children boys & girls of the ages of 6 to 16. I have applied for an application pack, but the enemy's obsticals will be in the way - 4 references (possible work history, which is one problem), CRB checks (don't have a Criminal Record, but my time with Tyrogue, might be on police records, but if properly read, should give me the go ahead. In a way I have been mentoring un-officially for over 15 years, with Eevee (when I was 19), Tyrogue, Gligar & Jigglypuff (female) at 20-21, DX at 25 & Ginger/Metro/Teddiursa from 25 to present day. Prayer will be needed if I am to be accepted & I will also contact Eve who can provide maybe one of the best references for me, even though she only got to know me withing 1 week, she knows almost everything about me.
