Thanks for the info, Ill be emailing you shortly about adding #1 and #3 to my sigpic (or lack thereof).

About #2 though, I thought of two alternatives that would allow people to delete their posts without affecting the replies of others.

The first alternative is to allow deleting of posts only if there have been no replies to it. This is probably the more simple solution.

The second alternative is to allow the deleting of the text of your post without deleting the post its self. So, the post would appear on the forum with all replies under it, but if you click on the post, the text would read (original text deleted by poster).

A possible third alternative is to combine both (if there are no replies to it you can delete the whole thing and if there are replies then you can only delete the text).

The problem with posting a message like 'delete this one' is that there are only two administrators (to my knowledge) and not only does it take time for you to notice the post (which by then may be too late as people have started to reply to it), but also the problem is often too minor to be bothering you with it. Im sure you wouldnt appreciate the extra work if everyone started posting asking you to delete posts (something Ive thought about before, but havent done in order not to bother you).

If you dont have time to implement this, you can email me and Ill see if I can do it myself. Im not sure what the script for this site is written in, and I probably dont know the language but Im an IS major and learn very quickly and Im sure that such a simple thing could be done with a little research in under 2 weeks (assuming I know nothing to begin with, if its a language Im familiar with Im sure it could be done in a few minutes).
