We are merely discussing opinions here. FYI Jeffery Dahmer believed he LOVED his victims by collecting their skulls. And I would even go so far as to say that he is not responsible for having those feelings. However, he is responsible for acting on them. Now I'm not saying that gay sex is the equivalent of killing another person, I am merely pointing out that simply because we believe that we want something, no matter how bad, in no way justifies it. If you were to admit that the devil did INDEED place the desires for a homosexual relationship into a person. You would also have to concede that it was done for the purpose of keeping that person away from God. The devil would tell that person that God must not love him, because he is not allowed to follow the "desires of his heart". It get's very twisted in that person's mind. But as I said earlier, salvation is the most important issue. If a homosexual becomes saved, and gives his heart to Jesus, it is his business if what he is doing is sinful or not. If that person can stand close to God, and suffer no ill in his relationship with God, as a result of his actions, then there is nothing to worry about. If it is you who are having these questions go through your mind, it would seem as if you are trying to creat protocols, as to what kind of rules you must follow, if you are going to believe in God. Put that out of your mind and simply listen to your heart. Don't allow your mind to try to talk you out of faith that your heart desires, as a result of the fun it thinks it will miss out on. Give your heart to Jesus, and take the issue up with Him. I can't tell you what He will say. But you will never know, if you do not allow Him into your heart. God Bless |
