Neither am I saying Im not. that simply is none of your business. Being celibate means you make a choice not to have sex from that moment on, it doesnt infer anything about the past. >3) Are u homophobic? Are u a bigot? If not why do u keep on saying homosexual sex is a sin. If ur open minded than why try to go against something u have no problem with? Actually I have several gay friends. 4 to be exact (unless theres other who are in the closet). I dont believe there is anything wrong with living a gay lifestyle if you are not a christian. But, I believe the bible is clear in saying that gay sex is wrong. Therefore, to be a good christian you must follow the guidelines set forth in the bible. Some people find this concept strange, that I have different guidelines for christians and non-christians. But, its really quite simple, if you are not christian I would not expect you to tithe and I wouldnt think you are being a bad person by not tithing. But if you are a christian and are not tithing, then you are failing God. Its the same with having gay sex, there is nothing morally wrong with it, if you arent a christian then I cant say you are being a bad person. But if you are a christian and are having gay sex, then you are failing God. I wont quote statement 4 because of its lenght. But that is a sad fact, people have historically used the bible to justify great atrocities. There is no excuse for that. People who did that were wrong. I can only speak for myself though, and being as I dont use the bible for such purposes, I cant really answer this question. Like I said, I dont think there is anything wrong with a non-christian being actively gay, I only think its wrong for a christian to do so, because christians should follow the teachings of the bible. Even then though, 3 of my 4 gay friends are christians, two of them are sexually active (with each other, they are a couple), and I dont discriminate against them or bother them in any way because I know that its an issue thats between them and God.
