I don't have the time to get deep in this debate, but there have been good points on all sides. However the kind of life footsy seems to be promoting (I.E., I didn't ask to be this way so I'll just go with it) is no better than living as a common animal who operates on instinct alone. We were made to be better than the animals, which is why we have (or should have) control over our desires. Being a slave to one's desires doesn't seem like a very good life to me. And I think trading a closeness to God for sexual fullfillment is a bad trade. Remember that God CAN help a person deal with his attractions. Living for God DOESN'T mean living in frustration all the time. Dakota |
