Sorry to hear that it came to that. People can be so ignorent of the good we can do in the lives of children. So many are caught up in the paranoia of Paedophilia that they don't really know the signs they should be looking for. A child is at more risk from being hit by a car than being abducted by a stranger & a child is at risk more from abuse at home by a relative than from a person that they are happy with. Did this lady ask he son (if that was the case), if he felt threatened by you in any way. I'm sure that he would've defended you & your time together. But in situations where there is abuse, their is often more secrecy & a child is reluctant to talk about it & shows signs of shrugging any physical contact & looses their trust of adults. Most people fail to recognise these facts & us the good guys get drawn into the paranoia, just because we befriend boys! I hope things settle down for you, you mentioned holding the thorns & now the rose, what part of this tale is the Rose, for you at the moment?? Best regards Halo |
