Maverick, You and J will be in my prayers throughout the day tomorrow. I have an understanding and appreciation for your story. I was a youth pastor for several years too and have been able to affect the lives of young men, one in similar ways to how you helped J. The beauty of the family of God is that his grace will provide perhaps 100s of mothers for J over the years even in his own mother is gone. Look how you have become to be his father through the family of faith. I've also worked with incarcerated men and youth. I know God will be with you as you confront this man. In the midst of confronting J's loss for all 3 of you, perhaps the lost soul of this man can be saved. God bless you and J in your quest of faith tomorrow, amid other things. You are not alone.
