I have an analogy

I like to use. I see the sexuality of a child as the cosmic dust that predated the big bang. The big bang is puberty hitting. I believe that all the experiences of that child are all parts of what their future sexuality will be.

To expose them to sex at that age would be like throwing antimatter into that dense cloud of cosmic dust that created the big bang. Who the heck knows what will happen when it explodes.

That is why I believe we should protect children from sexual situations be it to them directly, or witnessing it, such as in porn or R movies.
