| Why do you choose to accept the "myths" about Jesus over the Truth? I've been saved for more than 20 years which includes much prayer and experiences where God has manifested His grace in my life, many times in very obvious ways, miraculous even. And He is the same Jesus that is in the Word -- not the Jesus of the Gnostic gospels or the Priori d'Zion, etc. Ultimately you are responsible for choosing to believe what you believe, but if you'd strive to seek God with a whole heart, I believe you'll come to a different conclusion about who Jesus truly is. My faith is very real for me, and there are reasons why it is this way for me. It didn't come quickly or easily, and I didn't just decide to accept this faith with little or no thought. Christians who follow Jesus aren't as ignorant as I think you might think them to be. There are very real definite reasons for our faith. I think you do yourself a disservice by not looking into some of those reasons. Seek God not only with your "rational" mind, but also with your heart. |
