I know that from time to time rationally it is hard to understand the why's and when's of God. Quite honestly sometimes His word just plain confuses me, but we as Christians have to let our hearts rule, not our rational minds. Satan will play with your mind and try to get you to rationalize everything, but he has no control over your heart. Look back at the Garden of Eden, he got Eve to rationalize the eating of the fruit, by saying "you will not surely die" (Gen.3:4 NKJV) although it is written as a statement it did cause Eve to think, "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat..."(Gen.3:6KJV) Notice that when she SAW, she trusted her rational mind and assumed that the fruit was good, even though it was forbidden by God. She knew she should obey God, but she let her rationale overrule her heart. I pray that you will find peace and comfort in HIM. Trust your heart, Trust God, but DO NOT trust your rational mind. Your rational mind on somedays will tell you that you are not saved, but God's word says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."(Romans 10:9KJV)

Love in Christ,
