Halo, Thanks for the prayers. The three kids that were arrested cooperated with the police and gave the names of the rest of the kids that were at the house. I was called down to the sheriff's station today and had a chance to file the complaint. Because of my request, I was able to talk to the teens that did this. none of them knew about the specialnees of the house to JR and were, I believe, truly sorry. I had stugled with forgiving them for what their violation to house had done to JR. I had a hard time doing so, but I forgave them, after I talked to them. I was able to get the hearings moved up so I could be there when the rulings were made. The judge gave them phrobation for six months each and they had to pay for the damages to the house, a total, in his estimate, of $3,500. I didn't have my lawyer there and wan't sure what to do, do I kept quite. I haven't told JR yet, but most of the kids had said that were going to write letters of appoligy to JR. We'll see if that happens or not. I am hoping I will be able to use this situation to witness to the kids, but I don't know if I will. I'm still mad at them, to an extent. I think I need to deal with that first. Mav. |
