Time passes for us in a very linear fashion. I've always thought of heaven as a place where we live outside of time in eternity. Eternity is a different concept of time because it is nonlinear. We think in such linear terms, ie: a second follows a miniute follows an hour follows a day...that we can't understand the prinicipal of what nonlinear eternity is. The Bible points out that 1000 years to us is as a day to God. Revelation restates this and that "at the end of time." I tend to take that literally, since eternity does does operate under the ticking of a clock. We will not age, so why would we need to define something that won't matter? Time is of this world. It's linear. The end of this world will be the end of linear time . Eternity is God's time, and so our age will all be the same. Eternity. Simple isn't it. That even sounds like a number if you think of it those terms.

Blessings,
Oliver
