It's always important to know that the other person might well not be who they say they are or who they seem to be. The person behind a nice bunch of words on the screen might well be someone who's only goal is to gain ur trust so he can hurt u. It has been done before on other boards and is bound to happen again. It doesn't have to be so malicious tho, the person might just get a kick out of it or have some psychological issues. All in all... never trust ppl with more info than needed unless u really really know them well and have had extensive contact over a period of time. Be carefull in email and don't assume ppl are always as friendly and nice as they appear to be. There's no harm in talking, but be sure who u are dealing with before u give them a chance to mess up ur life. -zip- |
