I had an offer on JR's mom's house yesterday. It's about $3,000 less than I was asking for it, but I might take it. The couple that put the offer in are newly weds and it would be perfect for them. I also found a house not far from where we are now. I took JR to see it yesterday. We actually went to look at four houses. The one he liked the best was not my first choice, but it isn't that bad. I'm going to use the money from the sale of JR's mom's house to put a down payment on it. If my offer is accepted, then all I'll have to do is sell our house. I should be able to get enough from both houses to pay for the new house in full. Or at least only have a few thousand left to pay on the new one. |
