Boy, it sure would be nice if we could all just go by our feelings to decide what was right and wrong. And along with that philosophy, if we just picked and chose what parts of the Bible we wanted to follow.....WOW, what fun we could have, indulging our every desire. But unfortunately, that's not what true Christianity is all about. We try to do what God desires of us, even if we don't feel like it or understand it. The Bible warns us in several places not to rely on feelings. And it also warns us not to be deceived. Christ's death on the cross means that you are indeed forgiven. But how close you are to Him depends on whether you follow Him, or your feelings. Dakota |
