A true friend is found

Pichu. Those who thought he was just another user may have been proved wrong, he showed characheristics that showed he really is a true friend yesterday. I spent some time with him alone at the start of the day. I spoke to him about the incident at work, he was happy telling me about it & said he'd been moved to another part of the job, where he's happier. Lunch went okay, I met El as well, but El's jealous charachter emerged & Pichu saw it for himself. El had sent me on to our haunted snooker room (note haunted) to book a table, whilst he talked to Pichu. I didn't suspect anything until Pichu spoke to me whilst El got changed out of his uniform. They'd had an arguement about me! El wanted Pichu to stop seeing me & was trying to break us up! Pichu argued that I was a true friend & have done so much for both of them, so why was El treating me like ship. Pichu left us a while later after his game with El & then El/Cujo started accusing me of saying things about his family, he said that Pichu had told him this. I stood my ground & he phoned Pichu who denied everything! El still wasn't happy at all. Pichu was in the arcade & every attempt by El to send me away was defied by Pichu, who argued my case everytime & told me to stick around. This continued for much of the day, El's threats turned also to swearing firstly directed at me & then at his brother Pichu for defending me. Pichu won a jackpot on a machine & put an arm across my shoulder, I put an arm around him & El accused me of "touching his brother up". Pichu answered "no he wasn't he was just giving me a cuddle". Pichu told me that he'd never really seen El act like this before, but he sometimes goes off at the slightest thing at home. He also told El that he's had some bad friends in the past & Halo was the best friend he'd had yet, so why was he trying to push me away, especially after all I'd done for him. Pichu confessed that he likes me whether I had money or not (unlike El), he even suggested testing El by offering him money. It wasn't tried. El eventually came to his senses a long time later, sort of made up & apologised to me saying "I don't know what was happening to me". I think it has something to do with the "attention seeking" theory, cause now his brother is on the scene, he has a rival for my attention (maybe not affection, cause that seems to him to be only a cover, but not in Pichu's case). I didn't see either boy during my break, I was delayed & couldn't see Pichu alone, then when I did go, Pichu was at work & I frustrated El by not finding him to meet up. Instead I watched the soccor & returned to work. Don't know which boy I'll see today, Pichu may not be in, they both have the funeral tomorrow (their friend was 83yo). Pichu will be in later for work, cause he starts late. Also to note, today is Pichu's birthday (Halloween) not tomorrow! He got a token $15.00 present off me yesterday, but as I said before, I want to give him something else, that he can't spend (material goods of course along with a loving friend). Halo |
