The need for accountability is very Biblical. Jesus had 12 desciples, and every follower of God in the Bible had someone who was accountable to them. I don't doubt that God has different plans for everyone, but God has said since the very beginning of time, "it is not good that man is alone." We cannot count on ourselves alone to live as we see fit. God is in control and we need guidance and the occasional reality check from Him and from others. There's only so much you can get from a support forum online like this, but where would we be if a place like this didn't exist? I respect your belief, though. I know we can find God however we walk in life or He will surely find us. Blessings, Oliver |
