He let me talk, and empathised before he turned to talk about what to do. On that camp all he did was check that the boy was doing ok, and then he arranged to meet me again when we got back. At the meeting, he basically said 'I think we should think about reducing your involvement with the youth.' I agreed, but in fact nothing much changed after that; maybe he was leaving it for me to resign some of my involvement, but I didn't ever take this seriously enough to do so. It wasn't long before the pastor accepted the call to move to another church, and I forgot about our meeting, or maybe I chose to forget, thinking that the events at that camp had been enough to stop me losing control again, although in fact they were not, as the memory fades. But I believe you are wiser than to make this mistake.

You know your church situation better than we do, and you know the people. None of us can really judge whet
