I think there is a risk involved that I might go too far if one of the kids got too attached to me in my present state of mind. I don't want that to happen, so backing off is probably the wisest thing. That doesn't mean I can't participate in other things, and, to be honest, for all the years I"ve been devoting to service, being fed is not so bad right now. Thanks for the concern and advice.
