The OT is obviously under the old law. Jesus had to die in order to make us all worthy of being God's children. Now, had you studied more, you would have pulled Ephesians 6:5 of the NT, where slaves are told to obey their masters. And guess what, simply owning a slave, is not a sin. Back in Jesus' time and many years after, slavery was not only accepted, but even wanted by some slaves. It was the only way for them to pay their debts or to live, after a war. People make the mistake of identifying ALL slavery with what we had here in the US in our early years. RF |
