"For each one to know that the other one saved themselves JUST for them. That they are the ONLY ones that will ever see that side of their spouse." To this part I cannot disagree. But how often does this happen in real life, even among Christians? "We can't agree on everything, or people might suspect we are the same guy :P" That's true. :-D
