I made a point by illustrating the extreme.

No, you drew a false analogy (and a deeply offensive one at that).

...even something as horrid as killing people can be twisted in a person's mind to were they believe it's love.

As previously stated, it is a false analogy to compare killing somebody with how one feels toward another human being. The love I have for my young friend (even though I haven't seen him in almost five years and even though he probably hates my guts) is real, deep and permanent. It is neither fleeting nor twisted nor shallow.

You take it so personally, because you are only using your feelings to guide you.

I am a person and people take comments directed at them personally. Perhaps the other peson to you is simply a screen name, but I am a person with feelings and your comments have hurt me deeply.

Insert logic into the equation.

Where appropriate I certainly do - be careful of what you solicit, it would probably make your head spin...
