Trouble is, you cannot pick and choose verses. You must take in the entire book.

Alright. ;) 'tis, after all, sharper than any dual-edged sword...

What 1 Cor 6:12 is telling us is, nothing, in and of itself, is unlawful, because the law is no longer in place.

Hey! You've been reading! ::HUG::

What makes sin wrong is that it takes us away from God.

Yup... and what did Jesus say of that matter which draws one from God?

So what Hitler did, in and of itself, was not unlawful, however, it is impossible to do what he did, and remain close to God, because it is agaist God.

Makes it rather difficult to assert that he did love the Jews, and did good unto them...

Homosexual relations, in and of themselves, are not unlawful...

Darn.. you're good. :)

...however the fact that it is against God's nature means that to engage in it will bring division between you and God.

Isn't it God's to say whom He will associate with? Is it not, furthermore, God's will manifest that each shall choose whether they will associate with He?

By all means - if the fruits of homosexuality in your life have been a division with God, testify (SO many people forget that this word has a meaning) that, to you, it has been unclean, thus.

'course, given the nature of the forum, that'd probably violate the rules. ;)

It is, however, impossible to actively testify for God (i.e. those things which only God have the authority to assert) or for another (i.e. that which God has granted them soverign authority to assert for themselves).

...'course, being LGL, it isn't even my issue - I'm just sad to see christian after christian driven away...

THAT is what is wrong.

That it would be - but that would be the person's wrong to choose for themselves, if it bear such fruit. That it do - universally and itself - I do not think anyone here has the authority to assert... nor to use as whip to flog any christian who might walk in the door, who stand themselves called to judge its fruits, alone before God.

Good message. Thanks. :) I found it a lovely continuation of where we left off.
