Well, J... Collin Creavey? Yeah, he's cute, but not a "WOW" to me. You're AOA is a little lower than mine. Although, I did like Rupert much better in the first movie when he was younger. I won't say this movie is any better than that first one. The plot seems more confused, even though I did read the book first. Before seeing the movie, I thought this was my favorite book in the series, but now I'm not so sure. The movie spent too much time on certain scenes (flying car, willow, spiders, much of the final climax) and should've used that time to develop the plot and characters a bit further. In the book, Professor Gilderoy didn't seem to be such an obvious fake in the beginning as he does in the movie. The movie should've hidden it more and allowed the audience to guess if he were for real, until it's ultimately revealed in the beginning of the final climax.

Nevertheless, the movie was fantastic, and one HUGE improvement: Draco Malfoy! He was almost ignored in the first movie. Now, in this movie, he is prominently featured; though, disappointingly, they leave him out for most of the last half hour. Throughout the scenes, I often found myself looking for Draco more than any other character.

I don't know exactly WHY I like this mean character so much. No, I don't like people who are mean, but when I was younger, I often became very good friends with kids who had intially hated me. I really don't think this would be too out-of-line... for Draco to sincerely befriend Harry. I don't think Draco's father would like it much. But I do see a chance for Draco to start to see things a bit differently when he gets older -- to have a mind of his own.

Draco comes across as being a very complex character. Often very quiet, seemingly in constant deep thought, with more being said with his eyes than with his mouth. He KNOWS a lot... perhaps more than Potter knows. Afterall, Potter is still learning about himself whereas Draco has known from the beginning, as a full-blooded wizard, and has been raised to be one of the best, and IS in fact the best wizard in his house... in addition to being the pet student of Slithering headmaster Professor Snape (also a quiet intense thinker who seems to have more power than anyone else in Hogwarts outside of Dumbledore or Voldemort). I really like Snape as well. Now, Lucis Malfoy, on the other hand, I just can't stand. He is one nasty dude.

But out of ALL the kids in Hogwarts, I would most definitely pick Draco to be my YF. Why? I'm not sure why he is attractive to me. He's not exactly handsome -- not homely either. Perhaps he interests me because he does seem to be complex... someone I'd like to "find" out. Also, maybe because he'd be a challenge... someone to teach to be a better man. He seems to know a lot. Maybe it's just his intensity that interests me. I don't know.

What do you think?
