A friend dropped me a note to say that you folks were, um, inquiring as to whether I'd been run over by a truck. Just wanted to assure you that I'm alive and still thinking of you. :) As John Doe hinted, I had to retire from journalism and Webmastering due to health problems that made it impossible for me to continue doing online research (or posting regularly at discussion boards); I'm writing fiction these days. And I'm still in touch with my friends from the boards, so big news here eventually drifts my way. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, New Year's, and/or IBLD.
