Hi Mark, Boy do I have lots and lots of stuff to talk with you about. I am going to try to get ahold of you by phone this week, ok? Andy has filled me in on how to get ahold of you, so I am going to try. Ok. I JUST finnished with my session with Karen today, and we spent some time discussing this proposed article. She gave me a list of questions that the editor of NARTH gave to her to have answered. As time permits I will share some of them right here. She wants an emphasis on pysycological issues that would be of common interest to readers whose background isn't nessisarily Christian. A lot of NARTH members are of the Jewish faith, or athiest, New Age, Mormon, or jus humanist. So she wants something that people of other religions could relate to and would want to read. She wants an emphisis on psycological issues, because this is a pysycologicasl journal: Issues like: How the attraction to minor boys developes? How we cope with our attractions, porn addictions, feelings about boys, feelings about adults (men and women), etc? What is the differentiation between being gay and being minor attracted? What is there about adult gay men that doesn't attract like boys do? What are the feelings in connection with boys? Romantic? Mentoring? Being a father figure? Where are the lines drawn? How do you controle your attractions? How do you know you won't act on them? She is also interested in an emphisis placed on an important point I have made with Karen often, and that is that our Forum serves as sort of a "counterweight" to NAMBLA. This group openly opposes NAMBLA, and so this is an issue that is of great interest to them. How do we seperate the line between the non-erotic feelings for boys and the erotic? (Karen is also learnig about us. She had to explain to this person that there actually IS a non-erotic part of being a BL. Mrs. Nicolosi did not understand that right away.) Also she wants some history about our Forum, how it got started, why other forums and panels weren't helpful places for us (Christian BL's) to be. How to actually find our websight. Our Mission statement...etc And perhaps the greatest question is this biggie...What is the difference between being a pedophile and a BL. And I know that I would have to add, What is the difference in being a BL and a Christian BL. Karen expressed again how greatly impressed Mrs. Nicolosi is with us and with what we are doing. However, I will NOT submit anything until I recieve a "go-ahead" from the majority here at CBLF. But I am still possative about this project.
