well spoken for the most part, although I must take issue with one small thing. "It is through faith that we defy our bodies..." again, I tell you that this is simply recycled Platonic doctrine. Why would we want to defy the bodies, the lives that God gave us? Yes, rejecting the animal in us is key (and I give you points for your cannibalism remark. Good rebuttal that), but come on..."defying out body"? Isn't that a little strong? I know life is a trial, I know this. But don't you think God wants us to enjoy life and have fun too? Or are we all doomed to live the lives of monks, whether or not we chose to? I hold that my refusal to kill myself, anyone else, or sleep with kids in my life is proof enough that I have never succumbed to Satan, at least in the large matters of life.
