Yes Jesus Loves Us!

Hi To All,

Yesterday I happened to read part of a post entitled "Jesus (or God...I'm not sure now...) Loves Homosexual Me". I thought about this statement this morning after I read my daily page from "My Utmost For His Highest" and I started to write this reply. I intended for it to go under that post but when I got here, the post was way down the list. So I thought perhaps it would be better to write it out as a new post.

God does indeed love you, brother. Never let anyone or any situation in life convince you of anything else. Just like a Father, God longs to take you in His arms and show you His love. In His arms there is real rest for the weary, power for the powerless, care for the uncared, acceptance for those who have been left behind, and most of all, love for the unloved.

I don't know how much pain you have had to suffer in your life so far, but I know how much this world can dish out. Jesus came that we may be free from the pain and cares of a world which has fallen away from love and light. Not that He will take them all away, but that He will give us a way to live which is much better than we could ever imagine. A way that leads us directly into our Father's arms.

I say, let the world have it's problems with me; God knows where my heart lies and what He is doing in my life. He knows the kind of broken down, old wreck of a car that I am trying to push down the narrow road that leads to Him. He is making all needed repairs along the way AND He is driving the thing too. This is something I could never do.

Just let the Savior drive, my friend, if you aren't already. Slide over and give Him the wheel. Jesus knows the way and He will get you there....a little weary from the trip but safe and sound and with the kind of joy only God can give!!!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Chris
