Of course Christians get divorced. Not out of anything righteous though. For a divorce to occur, something unGodly and sinful had to take place. You are breaking a vow to God. If a spouse cheats, they broke the vow and the other can leave. Now, to KNOWINGLY put a child in a situation ripe for divorce? Well, let me just say that from what I experienced through my parents divorce, I would be quite unhappy with any couple that did that. The healthiest environment for a child is a loving mothere and father. PERIOD. You can bring up examples of single parents, or other non married situations where kids are raised well (my mom raised me well), however lacking a mom and dad who love each other is robbing a child, right away, from a major need they have.
