I've missed community badly, and struggled sorely without it... hence, here I am! As for rationalizing and justifying, I would say more 'testing' or 'contending.' To reiterate a bit, the way I see it I have experiences and beliefs- and when they don't match I have to find a way to make the beliefs fit; either by understanding them deeper, by seeing them in a different light, or by changing them if they are wrong. I try never to change my reality to fit my beliefs—that would be called delusion. Experience shapes beliefs, not vice versa. That, it seems, is what you think I'm doing though. Maybe I have, but part of it could be intentional mis-representation. As I said to begin with, I’m playing devil’s advocate to some extent. Explain more, if you think the topic's worth pursuing. I've thought a lot about your questions listed above, and I would like to know what your answers are to them :-) We have never really talked in depth about your convictions that I recall- BL or otherwise really. What I'd like to know in addition to your view on paedosexuality is how you balance your view on sex with minors as opposed to sex with males, in the light of Christianity.
