If I were to say any particular sexual relationship is sinful, it would seem to indicate that if it was bearing the fruit of the Spirit I would be incorrect.

It would; some would even go so far as to say "spitting in God's face."

And if I were to say that any sexuality that beared the fruit of the Spirit was positive, well, then I would be in the position I am now- with people telling me it's against God's will and so inherently sinful.

True - but then again, what do these specific people look to for guidance?

The pharisee were the keepers of Law - and yet, Jesus railed against their hypocracy, their laying of heavy and arbitrary burdens upon the people, which they themselves would not touch.

Jesus, instead, says that by one's fruits shall one know them.

Paul asks and asserts "Why am I slandered concerning that for which I give thanks? Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Cor 10:30-1)

He also says "For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Gal 5:14).

And as a guidance I think rather reflects Jesus' will, he says "One man has faith that he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats vegetables only. Let not him who eats regard with contempt him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge the servent of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, for the Lord is able to make him stand." (Rom 14:2-4)

These are the many things which the people you note ignore, which they condemn, which they spit upon and slander with lies; I have faith that they would beat and kill them if they could.

Quote ONE of these, and see how quickly a 'Christian' will call you a murderer, a rapist, a servant of Satan...

...and yet, this is the bible; and yet, this is, as best I know it, the will of God. The Law died on the cross, to be replaced by Love.

...and there seem to be those who make this new covenant their sworn and foremost enemy.

May God guide you in your questions - may He provide you with something to have more faith in than humans.

And yeah... that definately includes lil' ol' me. ;)

Stick around, k?
