I was-- as all of us are-- born pure and clean. Well actually not born that way, but baptised in a proper church ceremony where all my past sin was cleansed from my vile, polluted soul. So I started life as a clean white male heterosexual American republican. And then, PRAISE THE LORD! The 1967 came along, and the moment Mic Jagger strutted across the stage, his lips flapping out "Pleased to meet you! Won't you guess my name!?" I saw the LIGHT gender ambiguity! I didn't HAVE to be Ward Cleaver! I could be June too! And the rest, of course, is history. So, I can testify that the re-orientation thearpy of good-ole Rock-n-Roll worked for me, and it can work for you too. O ye of little faith! |
