The future of Paraklesis

As many of you know, I've been editing Paraklesis (www.cblf.org/paraklesis), a print and on-line publication for Christian BLs and their friends. There are currently 28 people who receive the print version through regular mail (10 are non-BLs), and I don't know how many read it online. I think it serves a very useful purpose. People have commented that it's useful to many who read it, especially to those who receive the print version and can show it to trusted friends. However, due to several other projects I feel called to work on, I find it impossible to continue in my role as editor of Paraklesis. But it doesn't have to die. Chris is very much interested in taking over as editor, but he's not sure that he'll be able to do it. He told me that it would be fine if someone who's more certain of their ability to do it would step up. So I'm asking whether anyone else here at CBF would be interested in taking over this job. It involves soliciting articles from people and editing them if necessary, sometimes writing your own articles, putting them into the website, laying out the print version, printing it, and mailing it out. If no one is able to take it over, Paraklesis will be discontinued. Mark |
