Greetings, Chris. You guessed right... more or less. I do love fantasy games, and my young'uns and I often play along. I did try the pen and paper type for a while, but it took six of us three hours to make two turns ("I can shoot him." "No you can't. Your partner's in the way." "But he's a dwarf, I shoot over his head!" "...") I got into Final fantasy 8, purely because I could relate to the characters. The others were more of a messup that I couldn't be bothered with. Now I'm into Diablo 2 and writing (Diablo, because my littl'uns are into it, and they needed someone to help them kill the great sunburned lizard). Like you said, Jesus does have a way of making our lives more adventurous than slaying hordes of zombies. It's much harder, but that's what your sword was given for. I prefer to smite with a shield. Thank you for the kind words, Chris. You, your littl'uns, and everyone in this group will always be a part of my prayers. Do take care of yourself and your youn'uns. They are really blessed to have so caring a person as you. Earth! Always, Brother Paul. |
