... I don't think I'll do that just yet, though I've come too close too many times. Firstly, it is good to meet you, Halo. I like rreading about you and Elekid (Cujo), and the others. I do hope things untangle for you soon. You are in my prayers. I've been as good a friend to Brent as I know how. However, I still have a LOT to learn about friends (been loner for the most part). I don't know, Halo. Maybe I'm being unfair. Brent and I live 30 km's apart (don't ask how many miles, I don't know that either), but we used to make full-out efforts to be with each other. Any excuse would do. Now it's different. He came withing a hundred meters of where I live when he went to the sea this last weekend, and didn't even bother to ring me up (Then again, I can count on my hand the number of times he's phoned me. I practically did all the calling, much like the sleep-overs). I suppose this doesn't matter, because I'll love him beyond death. He just needs to learn that a relationship requires work from both sides. I've taken to no longer phoning him, and until he makes some kind of effort, I'll fool myself that he doesn't exist. The Lord brings people into and out of our lives, so that we can grow closer to him. Brent most certainly did bring me closer to the Lord. Now there is a hole in my life that lives on heartache. Frig! I could be wrong about everything. I'm making a mess of this whole blood affair! *breath deep. Breath deep. Relax.* Sorry, Halo. Just needed to vent some stuff. Please fogive the length of this post. Like Chris says, this will probably all blow over. As they say in Unreal Tournament 2003: "Life is pain - get over it!" Stay safe, Halo.
