It's late at night....

It's late at night, about 2:15 AM, and I can't sleep. There have been a lot of things that have happened in the past few days, some good, some bad, all according to the will of God, at least I think. First is that we met two boys that, after a few days, accepted Christ as thier savior. It was a great time of praise and JR took them under his wing. Then JR broke his arm a few days ago. He's been dealing with a lot of pain. He was showing off for the boys and lost control of the 4 wheeler. Then we ran into some trouble with the boys mom. The boys had been staying with us for a few days and she said they couldn't see us any more. They ran away from home and came to my house. I called her and we agreed that they could stay here for a week. Then she called and asked me to bring the boys home a couple of days early. After that she said niether of us could see the boys anymore. JR was devistated, he had become like the older brother to them and is still having a hard time with it. The biggest problem is that I am too. I know all of the arguments that say there is a reason, but I still miss the boys being here. The silance of the house is amazing to me. JR couldn't sleep in his room, so I agreed to let him sleep in my bed. He's out like a light, but I'm still wide awake and wound up like a drum. I wish I knew why she cut the boys off like that, but I guess it is something that I will never know for sure. I know this is not an area for prayer requests, but pray for them all, including the mom. I will post a request on the Prayer Request site here. I am asking for three things: First is for salvation of the mom. Second is for spirtual growth for the boys, third is that JR and I will be able to handle this. I know that God has a reason, but it still hurts. Mavrick |
