Huckleberry, JR had put up some posts, and I have as well, about what is going on. To sum it up, a short time ago JR and I met two boys in the area that were kind of the outcasts, as it would be. JR took an interest in helping them and invited them to the youth group meetings that I hold on Friday nights at the church gym. After a few days of working with them the youngest one, I will call him Fred, accepted Christ as his savior. He was on fire and telling everyone about Jesus. Later the older brother, I'll call him Barney,who is 14 accepted Christ as well. Shortly after that thier mother said that they could not come over any more. JR had taken them under his wing, as it would be, to guide them, espcelly Fred, in spiritual growth. They were like the brothers he never had. When the mom cut us off from each other JR was devistated. I was not very happy about it, but I could do nothing. Then the mother had a restraining order put in place that would not allow either of us to visit, call, write, or communicate with them in ANY way. JR goes to the same school as they do and he sees them every day. He can't even say "Hi!" to them if they pass in the hall. JR has been VERY depressed and upset about the whole thing. I my mind it is the work of Satan. As Andy told me, when we make advances into Satan's relm he attacks us full force. He can attack me all he wants, but he better leave JR alone. Just a side note, since I put that posting up JR is doning much better. The attacks have seemed to let up. Of course I don't think it has anything to do with the posting but with the fact that I have been praying for JR almost non-stop since I put that up. I have been praying for the Salvation of the mom and for the groth of the boys as well. If you have any questions, eamil me. Mav |
