Bringing you up to speed on things. JR had his best friend stay over this weekend. It has worked wonders. He is not depressed any more. He is hopeful and upbeat again. He tried to talk his friend into passing notes to the boys, but his friend wouldn't do it. His friend was able to get advice from Andy and Andy talked to JR about how it could jepordize things if he did pass the notes. JR agreed and promised not to do it. He wasn't happy about it, but he did promise not to do that. (Thanks Andy, You are a God send.) A report has come to me that the mom of the boys is having some problems now. Things that were not there a week ago. The phone was cut off, the furnance isn't working right, making the house cold at one point and hotter than it should be about an hour later. She has been dealing an unending headache and her car won't run. The time that this all started? Wednesday. Right after people started praying for her salvation. If you don't believe in the power of prayer..... welll let's just say you have never seen what prayer will do. Her salvation is close at hand. JR was watching the T.V. show "Doc" on PAX T.V. (I hoe I'm not violating any rules or anythng here.) At the end of the show, when Doc is emailing his mentor, he makes the comment that "God doesn't always show up when we want, but His timing is always perfect." Made me wish I had seen the whole thing. Right after that statment was made he turned to me ans said, "Okay, you win. I'll wait on the Lord to perform His miricle." It won't be easy for him to do that. He has a hard time waiting for the milk to pour over his cerieal in the morning. God Bless Mav |
