I understand what you are talking about, Drifter, and agree to a point. Although it may be upsetting to find out you've been lied to and your emotions have been manipulated and toyed with, the reason some people may do this is because it partially fills a need or void in their lives. I wouldn't want to risk taking away some form of comfort from someone by exposing the lie, just because it MIGHT be someone just playing a "game" for their own amusement. Of course, we should all still be very careful about sharing too much personal information with anyone online. Thanks for the reminder. Dakota |
