Greetings, Karen, in Jesus name, I have been wondering how long it would take for you to finally post something in our forum. I talked with Chris last night, and he filled me in on what went on yesterday. Gluttony is certainly a sin which can cause one to be physically ill. If you actively practice greed, or give in to your urge to gossip, these, too, result in sin, and illnesses of the heart, no matter how "respectable" the little cafè where it takes place, nor, for that matter, the church or sanctuary where it happens. In these cases those places have been converted to dens of iniquity. That's the cleverness of Satan. When a gay bar is opened, however, all attention is focussed there, and nobody sees what is going on behind the scenes. While the "righteous Christians" in the community are "cleaning things up", Satan is slithering his way into the church house, and the small town cafè where people's characters are being assassinated. Satan does his best work in the church house. Wouldn't it be revolutionary, if God were to send a few people into these places with the real truth, and the fortitude and ability to pull the cover off the real sin that exists there? Yes, Chris has told me much about you. I don't know how much of it he has posted here, but he personally told me that he likes you very much, and appreciates the stance you have taken as regards the issues in his life. He has confided to me that the attitude you have taken is one that he has never encountered with any other therapist, and feels that more can be accomplished with you than with any other professional therapist with whom he has had contact. I think your husband is right… You have the perfect opportunity and position to show people where the real sin exists, and what the real sin is in your community.
