Praises to God

Praises to God for His wonderful Love and kindness, for His power, for His answering prayers. An ineresting thing happened tonight. I was at a meeting at the church when I got a call from a police officer that is a very close friend. For the sake of this posting, I will call him Steve. Steve told me that the boys that we have been praying for have been taken out of thier home and placed in protective custody. The order of proctetion against JR and me has been revoked. The oldest boy was beaten by his mom. He has a broken arm and several bruses on his face. He's at the hospital for the night for obsevation. I will be picking him up and bringing to stay with us for a few days. The other two boys will be staying with JR's best friend for a few days. After that, we don't know. The mother is undergoing a phych evaluation for the next day or so. Apperntly she lost it and went after the older boy, who is 16. I don't know why, but I will find out. I'd be willing to bet it has something to do with the headaches. I am praying for her still, as well as the boys. I want to thank all of you that have been praying for them. This is proof that God DOES answer our prayers. Glory and Praise to Him and Him alone! Mav. PS: JR is bouncing off the walls with Joy. He won't sleep tonight. I just hope I can ;) |
