Christian Boylove Forum

Tearing down, or building up?

CBF exists as a place where we can talk openly with others about our feelings as boylovers and how we deal with those feelings in the context of Christianity.

There are all kinds of people at CBF, and all are welcome. They have many opinions, and all are welcome. Our FAQ says that all views can be expressed, and all views will be challenged:

"We provide a forum for both support and accountability for our posters, attempting to help them critically examine their decisions and actions. Posts which do not reflect the webmaster's point of view are not deleted. Dialogue is begun to help all parties reflect on their views. All views are permitted and challenged."

The anonymous nature of our forum allows us the freedom to express ourselves with a degree of honesty that we dare not elsewhere. To protect that anonymity, it is important that we all be a bit fuzzy on the details of who, where, and when - but we find that those things are not really important to the building up of relationships of trust. What is important are what has happened in our lives, how we feel about those things, and why we feel that way.

Recently, some participants in our group have felt compelled to confront another in love. In love, some participants felt compelled to show support to the one being confronted. Is this the beginnings of a division in our group? No, this is community in action. We have the strength to accomplish all these things in the love of Christ.

The forum administrators wish to state, however, that we will not participate in, nor condone, any efforts to uncover the real-life details of any forum participants. Those things are protected, and are not important to the mission of CBF as a place to support one another.

John 13:35
"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
