does anyone think Michael Jackson sets the most correct and best example of how a boylover should be? If we consider his bl side as if it were in a bubble separate from the rest of his life, then perhaps I could agree with that. Assuming, of course, that the abuse allegations against him were false. However, we must judge his life as a whole and in so doing we find out that Michael Jackson is too strange to be the best example of anything. That he, Michael jackson, is probably the perfect boylover. Same answer as above. Taken separately from the rest of his life, and assuming the abuse allegations are false, then he is a perfect example of what a boylover should be. The amount of time and money he has spent on helping children through programs like his make a wish foundation is incompareable. Furthermore, his personal work one on one with needy or sick children is to be applauded. However, again...there hangs the specter of his oddities (masks, gloves, skin tone changes, plastic surgery, multiple marriages, hanging babies from balconies, etc.) If you wanted to describe what a boylover is; would Michael Jackson be a prime example? Again, if it weren't for his freakish behavior unrelated to being a boylover, Michael Jackson would be a prime example. The reason I ask is because I feel many boylovers are boylovers because of their sexual attraction towards boys and trying hard to legitamise it or surpress their sexual desire by befriending young boys and being a boylover? Tell me what you think? Thank you.. There are people who use other definitions, but personally, I believe that a pedophile is an adult who is sexually attracted to minors and a boylover is a pedophile who loves boys and is capable of falling in love with a boy. So, you are right, all boylovers are sexually attracted to children (or in denial). But is that the reason that they love boys? I doubt it. Love is something natural that all human beings can feel. No one can explain why people fall in love with the people they do. As far as the reason why boylovers enjoy the company of children, I do think you are on the right track when you mention Michael Jackson. I have personally noticed in myself and other bl's a wish to go back and be a kid again. Thinking back on my relationships, it is hard to tell when I was fulfilling the role of mentor and when I was fulfilling the role of friend and equal.
