I think that unquestionably there are amazing patterns and designs throughout nature. All of biological life and for that matter everything else physical is governed by amazing mathematical patterns. Some of this might apply also to life.

Personally, though, I find much more beautiful and meaningful than any of these mathematical patterns, beautiful though they are, the fact that God has used them to create a world in which humans can live and think and feel and love each other and him. It never ceases to amaze me.

But yes, I would say that it probably is some sign of design.

Out of interest, if I may ask, from what direction specifically is your faith being attacked? Mine has been attacked from alot....

Ask yourself this (and I know this isn't conclusive in any way): if you were born in the middle of the African bush you wouldn't know that matter was composed of atoms, but you do because you were born in America. Does that imply in any way that you are wrong?

With prayer,
ATN
