I don't know why me. I have always been nice to kids in general, so maybe he saw me, and he thought that he might be good friends with me. I think they can sense it if you are sincere, and if you are suitable to protect them, listen to them, etc. But a lot of things are helping... For example: He came around saturday. Played our games, etc. Then it was about 1 PM. Me: "Hey, Chibi... It's almost lunchtime. Wanna go to Burger King?" He (surprised): "But... I don't have any money on me!" Me: "But I do." He is raised to be polite: "Well, it doesn't matter to me where we eat." I saw it in his eyes though. He really wanted to go there. When we were there, I ordered the food, and when I gave his food to him, he looked at me with this grateful look in his eyes. That's what I'm doing it for. When he left the house he said "thanks for the burgers" again, and I was looking him his bright blue eyes, and I remembered why I loved him so much. I just melted away there on that spot. But thanks to things like this lil' adventure, I think he might keep chosing me... |
