Rejoycing in His Power

I know that I had said that I would not post anything from our lives again, but this is just to wonderful to keep from posting. Over the past few days JR and I have working with the boys encouraging them and discpling them. JR has taken a real intrest in them and is doing most of the work. The oldest one, who is a 16 year old I will call John, has been asking some major questions. JR had asked Andy and me for help. Andy admitted that it was a real challenge and caused him to do somw digging. I had to dig as well, but the questions were answered. Last night John was asking question after question and JR finally asked me to talk to John alone. I brought John into my study and we talke for some time. Finally I told him that we needed to set these questions aside and deal with the mmost imporant question. When John had said he wanted to pray to be saved, I called JR into my study and had him lead John in pray of Salvation. It was wonderful to see both these young men crying with the JOy that only God can bring. Some of you here at CBLF have been praying for this young man. Your prayers have been answered. Last night John accepeted Jesus as his Savior. JR and John's brothers were literally dancing around the room. JR had been chatting with Andy and told him about it. Andy told Chris, I told Pastor and my best friend. And now I am telling you. Praises To God For His Wonderful Love And Grace And Power!!!! MAV> |
