Excuse me while I spit...pttt! Thats a whole lot of words you just stuffed in my mouth - none of which are even close to the idea I was trying to convey. Are you still too angry to read? My major concern is that attempts by NAMBLA and other "Boylove" associations to legitimize pedophilia will only open the door to predators. OK, so you are afraid of what might happen if pedophilia is recognised for what it is. I can understand that. But, if you are aware of the real causes of child sexual abuse, then you know that by focusing all your attention on pedophiles you have turned your back on the real predators. Second call to reality...will you respond to that? As for your insisting that I am a child abuser and am only trying to hide from it: No thank you. I listened to that line for years and I can tell you that it was not good for my self-esteem. I was far more likely to commit some violent crime after I had received your treatment of condemnation and rejection. Why do you think that is helpful to children - to try to convince me that I am irrevocably destined to abuse? Personally, I choose to follow Jesus' call to learn to love others. Sexual attraction to boys is something that I experience, but it need not define who I am, and need not limit the true love and care that I can show for others - boys included. Nate |
