My purpose here was to expose the hypocrisy and deceitful nature of this self-serving group of apologists for pedophilia and I'm satisfied I've do so. I repeat - I am not seeking to justify pedophilia. Really... Your problem is that the arguments that you produce are full of holes; you totally fail distinguish between rape, as exemplified by Sodom and the Jeffrie Curley story, the complexities of the Manzie story (that A and B happen sequentially does not prove that A caused B, and one anecdote is of equal value to another) and the life style that I seek to live - of positive relationships with boys without sex, benefitting both them and me. To repeat what I have said before: we exist. We do not choose to be this way. We have found our way to this place which exists in effect as a church for a group that is generally hated and rejected. We welcome those who seek to find God for themselves as they struggle with being BLs, and we welcome non-BL Christians who often provide us with a broader perspective that helps to keep us focused. You fall into neither category - instead bringing a venomous combination of lack of thought and clarity and an unwillingness to reply to what is said to you. As such you offer the same appropriateness as a heavy metal track bursting into the middle of a Gregorian chant style Mass. This is not the board for you to charge around quoting secular studies and horror stories about child abuse; it cuts across the purpose of this board - which is to "be a place for mutual encouragement, support, and advice, as we seek to deal with our sexuality". As such I will delete any further new threads that you start quoting such material. If you wish to join in the general discussions in a way that is constructive, I would not seek to block you input; I recognise that there is a danger that we do lose sight of the perspective that the wider world has on us. However you need to think hard about how we should live given your own perspectives, and provide some evidence of such careful thought if you are not to be ignored as the destructive troll you have been so far (as a Brit, I see your behaviour conforming to the stereotypes that we tend to have about Americans; consider it a matter of national honour to prove that you are capable of intelligent conversation...) |
